Lone Star Park (1000 Lone Star Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050) is a full Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing facility on the north side of Grand Prairie — one of the few tracks in Texas and a venue that doubles as a concert and event space during the off-season. Live racing runs from April through July, and the track hosts Stakes race weekends that draw serious crowds to Lone Star Pkwy. Bus drop-off is at the main entrance off Lone Star Pkwy near the clubhouse; on major race days, the surface lots on the south and west sides of the facility fill quickly. Lone Star Park also serves as a popular venue for large group outings — corporate hospitality events and birthday party packages are available through the track's group sales office.
